About the Challenge

CrowdRise is excited to announce the Newman’s Own Foundation $500,000 Holiday Challenge, a friendly fundraising campaign for eligible US-based 501(c)3 charities and publicly supported under Section 509(a)(1) or (2). 

Newman’s Own Foundation is celebrating 35 years of giving and $500 million to thousands of charities, helping millions of people. As Paul Newman would say, “giving back is just the right thing to do.” 

Participating organizations will compete for up to $500,000 in cash prizes. 

Everything launches on Tuesday, November 21st, 2017 at 12pm ET and runs through Wednesday, January 3rd, 2018 at 1:59:59pm ET. 

The organization that raises the most online during the Challenge wins $150,000. 
2nd Place wins $50,000 
3rd Place wins $30,000 
4th Place wins $25,000 
5th Place wins $15,000 
6th Place wins $10,000 
7th Place wins $7,500 
8th Place wins $5,500 
9th Place wins $4,500 
10th Place wins $2,500 

On #GivingTuesday, November 28th, the organization that raises the most online wins $50,000. 
2nd Place wins $25,000 
3rd Place wins $10,000 

In addition to Grand Prizes, there will also be an additional $115,000 given away through weekly Bonus Challenges. 

Newman’s Own Foundation was founded by the late actor Paul Newman to continue his philanthropic legacy and help make the world a better place. The Foundation turns all net profits and royalties from the sale of Newman’s Own food and beverage products into charitable donations. 

Dixie is one of the sweetest girls!  Her nickname is circles because she had a stroke in her past and she tends to walk in large circles.  She is very good at avoiding obstacles though.  Besides her extra-curricular activity, she is a healthy girl looking for a home of her own.
